2017年，全社會用電量63077億千瓦時，同比增長6.6%。分產(chǎn)業(yè)看，第一產(chǎn)業(yè)用電量1155億千瓦時，同比增長7.3%；第二產(chǎn)業(yè)用電量44413億千瓦時，增長5.5%；第三產(chǎn)業(yè)用電量8814億千瓦時，增長10.7%；城鄉(xiāng)居民生活用電量8695億千瓦時，增長7.8%。
In 2017, the whole society consumed 6,307.7 billion kWh of electricity, an increase of 6.6% over the same period of last year. In terms of industries, the primary industry consumed 115.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, an increase of 7.3% over the same period of last year; the secondary industry consumed 44413 billion kilowatt-hours, up 5.5%; the tertiary industry consumed 881.4 billion kilowatt hours, up 10.7% The electricity consumption of urban and rural residents was 869.5 billion kwh, an increase of 7.8%.
2017年，全國6000千瓦及以上電廠發(fā)電設(shè)備累計平均利用小時為3786小時，同比減少11小時。其中，水電設(shè)備平均利用小時為3579小時，同比減少40小時；火電設(shè)備平均利用小時為4209小時，同比增加23小時。

2017年，全國電源新增生產(chǎn)能力（正式投產(chǎn)）13372萬千瓦，其中，水電1287萬千瓦，火電4578萬千瓦。
In 2017, the newly increased production capacity of power supply nationwide (officially put into production) reached 137.32 kilowatts and thermal power was 45.78 million kilowatts.
